About My Pet's Brace
Johnny, Terry and Abby Gray Visit My Pet's Brace - December 2013
Johnny and Terry Gray were recently in the area for the NHRA Nationals at the Maple Grove raceway and they stopped by the My Pet’s Brace clinic to have Abby, their Miniature Schnauzer, evaluated and casted for a stifle brace. They selected Pink for the color of the brace and we fabricated it here in Morgantown, PA, and shipped it to them in Florida the next day. (They used our expedited service.)
After six weeks of wearing the brace, Terry wrote us that, “Abby is doing well and coming along.”
Johnny Gray is a very successful nitro Funny Car racer and is especially well-known for his work with charities Alex’s Lemonade Stand and Darrell Gwynn Foundation. His bright yellow car has the Alex’s Lemonade Stand logo prominently displayed on the sides and hood of the car and they have used handprints of children with cancer (with their names written inside) as logos on the car to get the kids involved and make them part of the team.
“I race the car because it brings attention to how big of a problem childhood cancer is,” Johnny stated.
While he was in the area, Johnny visited the cancer ward at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and presented a state-of-the art power wheelchair provided by the Darrell Gwynn Foundation to a local resident.
It was our pleasure to meet Johnny, Terry and Abby and learn of the exciting work they do for Alex’s Lemonade Stand and Darrell Gwynn Foundation.
